Meeting People from Around the World WW

Hi all, I’ve been trawling the web looking for answers to all the questions that I’ve been asking. I’ve set up Google Alerts for “Theology of Worship” and “Music in Worship” which sends a feed to my RSS reader (Google Reader) every time a new website/blog that contains those terms is created.

Chris From Canada is “Director of Worship at Orangeville Baptist Church in Orangeville, Ontario” and is currently taking a “Theology of Worship” course at Heritage Seminary in Ontario. He’s posting notes from his course there so that should be pretty interesting.

He Must Increase is a network for UK worship leaders and they have an interesting discussion, “Is music in church a tool for evangelism or is it simply a tool for worship?”

I’m currently looking to find out how and why the OT principles of worship can be applied to modern day worship services. Some more Googling to do!

Lastly, Trinity Theological College (Singapore) is also conducting a course on worship:

"In Spirit and In Truth: The Nature and Practice of Christian Worship"
Instructor: Rev Dr Simon Chan
8 Wednesdays from March 25 – May 13; 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm
At St Andrew’s Cathedral, Prayer Hall

I’ll be attending with friends from church. It’s $80 for first time course attendees.
